Dark Tomb Series
If you've been following along, you'll know we have a spot for tiny travel games, especially tiny fantasy adventures. If we've got your attention, I'd like to introduce you to the Dark Tomb series, a full tabletop dungeon crawler crammed into an Altoids-sized tin.
How it works: If you're familiar with tabletop fantasy, you'll find yourself right at home. A flexible, tile-based map, characters with a range of abilities, quests to complete, a D20 dice— all the mainstays are here. The specific title we backed on Kickstarter is Bloodthorn Island, where you command a ship during an epic time of war (there's even a tiny boat!).
Why it's clever: This little pocket tin holds a full-size 4 player co-op, and additional players can even join in as monsters. And with the map tiles and adjustable difficulty, there's a lot of replayability here. It's also an ongoing series, so make sure you check out the site or follow them on Kickstarter. There's a new game out now, and you can usually add on previous titles as a bundle. See you in the dungeon!
